Terms of Service — Yallah Habibti
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These terms cover your use of Yallah Habibti (“the app,” “we,” “us”), an app for learning Modern Standard Arabic with everyday Gulf dialect content. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Using the app
You can use the free parts of Yallah Habibti — lessons, quizzes, and practice tools — without creating an account. Some features (cross-device progress sync, quiz leaderboards) are optional and require signing in with your Google or Apple account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose — learning Arabic — and not to misuse it: attempting to disrupt the app or its backend services, reverse-engineering it beyond what's legally permitted, or impersonating another learner in a display name or on a leaderboard.
Premium subscription
Yallah Habibti offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly or annual) that removes ads, gives unlimited hearts/lives, and unlocks all lessons. Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play — not by us directly.
- Billing: the price and billing period (monthly or annual) are shown before you subscribe, in your local currency, and confirmed by Apple or Google at the point of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your payment method is charged through your Apple ID or Google account, not by us.
- Free trials: if a promotional free trial or introductory price is offered, its length and terms are shown before you subscribe. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel anytime through your Apple ID (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) or Google account (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions) — not inside the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, since they process the payment — we don't have the ability to issue refunds directly.
- Restoring purchases: if you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Settings → Restore purchases to restore an active subscription tied to your Apple ID or Google account.
Content and intellectual property
The lessons, exercises, audio, illustrations, and other content in Yallah Habibti belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to use them for your own personal learning; you may not copy, redistribute, or repackage the app's content for others without our permission.
Quiz leaderboards and display names
If you opt into leaderboards, your chosen display name and quiz scores become visible to other users, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't use a display name that's offensive, impersonates someone else, or infringes anyone's rights. We may remove a leaderboard entry, or turn off a user's leaderboard participation, if a display name violates this.
No warranty
Yallah Habibti is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate (language learning content included) — please use your own judgment, especially for anything safety- or health-critical.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits any liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app's features or these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You can stop using the app anytime by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for a user who violates these terms, such as by abusing the leaderboard or attempting to disrupt the app's services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law gives you different or additional rights that can't be waived.
